White called Aspinall's decision complete madness

Dana White responded to a question about what he thinks of the statement made by the current UFC heavyweight champion, Tom Aspinall, who promised to vacate the title if the number one contender in the division becomes his friend and sparring partner Ante Delija.

“You know what I think about it— I hate it. Many friends and even relatives have fought each other before. It doesn't define whether you are friends or enemies, you are just competing to find out who is the best. But that's his decision. Even thinking about vacating the title because you don't want to fight someone— complete madness. But he is a grown man, and it's up to him to decide," said the organization leader in an interview with TNT Sports.
