Oliveira: "We knew that in the first round Gamrot would be the most dangerous."

The former UFC lightweight champion, Brazilian Charles Oliveira, commented on his victory over the Polish Mateusz Gamrot in the main event of UFC Fight Night 261 in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

"I have more submissions in UFC, if we’re talking about jiu-jitsu, the record is mine. We just won the first round and moved on to the second.

Honestly, we knew in advance that in the first round Gamrot would be the most dangerous. During that period, the coach told me to strike, but I just wanted to pressure Mateusz, gather strength and finish him in the second round," Oliveira said.
