Aleks Pereira spoke about the conflict with his next opponent, UFC light heavyweight champion Magomed Ankalaev.

“I try to avoid conflicts with my opponents. Even after fights, I try to be friendly with them. You have already seen that. I have talked about joint training with former opponents. I don’t know what the matter is. He often claimed that I am allegedly running away from him, that I don’t want to fight him. This has never been the case. We all know that the UFC just didn’t want to promote this fight. The issue was never with me. I have no problems with him. I always try to be friendly and avoid conflicts,” Pereira’s words are quoted by MMAJunkie.
