Former UFC featherweight champion Ilia Topuria explained why Khabib Nurmagomedov is opposed to his bout with lightweight division belt holder Islam Makhachev.
"Khabib knows that I will be the one to take the belt away from Islam. And that's the only reason he doesn't want Islam to fight me," Topuria wrote in X.
Recall that earlier Topuria left the vacant featherweight title vacant and announced a move to the lightweight category.
