UFC lightweight prospect Paddy Pimblett has announced that he plans to fight current division champion Islam Makhachev as early as next year.
"After the Chandler fight, I want to fight someone in the top 5 like Charles, Gaethje or Porier because I can't challenge Islam being number seven in the rankings. So it will be a fight with someone from the top five in Abu Dhabi and then a fight with Islam next year," Pimblett said while speaking to the press and fans in London.
