Cruz called his score in the fight Ancalaev - Pereira

Former UFC flyweight champion Dominick Cruz commented on Magomed Ankalaev's win against Alex Pereira.

Cruz believes Ancalaev deserved a positive result for himself in this fight.

"I thought Ancalaev was going to be throwing more of his tekdowns and the fight would be more like his fight with Blachowicz, where he started to struggle towards the end of the fight. And he tried to, but Pereira's defense against the kickdowns was better than ever. So that goes to his favor, honestly, and so overall it went the way I expected it to go. I think Ancalaev took the fight 4-1," Cruz said.

Recall that Ancalaev defeated Pereira by unanimous decision of the judges (48-47, 49-46, 48-47) in the main event of UFC 313 on March 8.
