Pereira responded to whether he allows a return to middleweight

UFC bantamweight champion Alex Pereira said he has no desire to move down to the middleweight division for a fight with current titleholder Drix Du Plessis.

"If we're going to fight, we're going to fight in the welterweight category. I don't want to chase weight up to 84 kilograms anymore. It's too heavy a burn," Sportskeeda quoted the Brazilian as saying.

As a reminder, Pereira will fight Magomed Ankalaev in the main event of UFC 313 on the night of March 9 in Las Vegas, USA.
