Ferguson called leaving the UFC a huge relief

"I'll tell you this - I packed up all my UFC-related stuff and bagged it, and it was the hardest thing I've ever had to do. It took me a few days to get used to it. I put everything in huge bags and was ready to move on. This whole process wasn't a disappointment, but it was a lesson for me. First, I learned a lot about how to do business. Second, about how to relate to my inner circle. Third, about how I should plan for my future. Now, at this stage, it's great to see new opportunities - to showcase myself, to wear a new uniform, to represent a new brand on a t-shirt. It's a huge relief to move on. There's no animosity and I think it's great."
