Almeida challenged Aspinall to a fight

UFC Brazilian heavyweight Jailton Almeida has expressed his desire to share the octagon with interim division champion Tom Aspinall.

"If the fight with Jones doesn't happen, let's fight you and me, champ. Forget Cyril Gawn - he avoided you and he's running from me now. Plus, he's already lost twice in title fights. And his last fight with Volkov was a robbery, he stole the win from him. UFC, how about an Aspinall vs. Almeida fight for the Ultimate Fighting Championship?" - wrote Almeida in X.

As a reminder, Aspinall is currently still waiting for the UFC to make a decision regarding a possible bout with full heavyweight champion Jon Jones.
