Former UFC featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski shared his thoughts on a potential bout between the still reigning belt holder in the category, Elijah Topuria, and lightweight leader Islam Makhachev.
"Elijah is a dangerous fighter, he can catch anyone with a punch. If he lands his cannon, he can definitely knock out Islam. But I think that will be hard to do because Islam is a very cautious fighter. However, some always have a better chance of winning than others. And Topuria belongs to these some," - said Volkanovski in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Recall, earlier it became known that Topuria will vacate her title and move to lightweight.
