Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker has expressed a desire to share the octagon with another former titleholder in the division, Sean Strickland.
"A bout with Sean Strickland looks the most logical, we've been in the elite of the division for a long time but for various reasons we haven't met in the cage yet. Right now it's the most likely fight, and I like it," Whittaker said in an interview with Anthony Smith.
Recall that Whittaker has not stepped into the octagon since last October, when he lost early to Khamzat Chimaev.
