American UFC lightweight veteran Michael Chandler has assessed the likelihood of the promotion's top star Conor McGregor returning to the octagon.
"In my heart of hearts, I think Conor should go back to his first favorite thing. Everything he has can somehow be tied to the UFC and the opportunity the organization has given him.
On the other hand, I've never been in the man's shoes, so I can't say what Conor is thinking. In my heart of hearts I believe he'll be back at some point, but if I were betting, I wouldn't bet on it," Chandler said in an interview with Ariel Helwani.
Recall that McGregor has not fought since July 2021, when he lost to Dustin Puryear due to a broken leg.
