Askren: "The Jones-Ngannou fight is not going to happen."

Former Bellator and ONE champion Ben Askren believes UFC president Dana White will never give the green light to a fight between Jon Jones and Francis Ngannou.

"This fight is not going to happen. I don't have any illusions about it. I don't think Dana White is going to be involved in organizing some kind of joint tournament between promotions or something like that. So the idea of a fight between Francis and John is a pipe dream," Askren said on Daniel Cormier's YouTube channel.
