The manager of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev Rizvan Magomedov has made it clear that his client is not interested in a bout with featherweight belt holder Elijah Topuria.
Earlier it was reported that Topuria left his title vacant and moved up to the lightweight division.
"Topuria vs. Dustin Porier or Charles Oliveira for the title belt challenger - let Elijah prove he's a worthwhile lightweight. That way we don't have to beat 'The Kid' again.
We need a high-profile fight that everyone will be interested in. And we've already given chances to the champion of welterweight, who owned his belt for a long time," Magomedov wrote in X.
