Topuria moves up to lightweight, Volkanovski and Lopez will fight for the vacant belt

UFC CEO Dana White announced that Elijah Topuria has vacated his featherweight belt and former champions Aleksander Volkanovski and Diego Lopez will square off in the main event of UFC 314 on April 12 in Miami, USA.

White also said that Michael Chandler's fight against Paddy Pimblett will be a five-round co-main event, while former Bellator champion Patricio Pitbull has signed with the promotion and will face Yair Rodriguez in the main card.

According to White, Topuria's next fight will be announced soon, but it appears he is moving up to lightweight.
