Former interim UFC lightweight champion Justin Gaethje said he hasn't given up on his desire to win a full title.
The American will return to the octagon on March 8 at UFC 313 in Las Vegas, USA, and will be opposed by Dan Hooker.
"I want to fight Makhachev, he's the champion. And I think he is a more convenient opponent for me than Nurmagomedov. As for Khabib, even if I had performed better that night, I don't know if I could have beaten him. On the day of that fight, I would have said he was my toughest opponent of my career," BJ Penn quoted Gatji as saying.
