UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad expressed confidence that he can inflict the first defeat of his career on Shavkat Rakhmonov.
"When I'm facing a guy like Shavkat, who they've put on a pedestal as a crazy, undefeated fighter, I see holes in his style just like I saw holes in Leon Edwards' style.
I think Leon is superior to Shawkat as a puncher, but mentally Shawkat is much stronger. I don't see him breaking down mentally. The most important thing is that now he is fighting a man who is not afraid of him.
Everyone who came out against him was nervous and scared. I'm going to put pressure on him all the time, be right in front of him, and it's going to end up the same way it always does - it's going to be another broken opponent," the American said on the Barstool Sports Chicago podcast.
