UFC featherweight champion Merab Dvalishvili believes featherweight titleholder Ilia Topuria is capable of taking on lightweight belt holder Islam Makhachev.
"Islam is a wrestler, because of that he wins. But he won't be able to defeat Elijah, while Elijah can knock him out in the stand-up," Europop quoted Dwaliwshili as saying.
Recall that in his last fight, which took place last October, Topuria knocked out Max Holloway.
