Cannonier commented on the win over Rodriguez

Former UFC middleweight title challenger Jared Cannonnier commented on his win over Gregory Rodriguez in the main event of UFC Fight Night 251 in Las Vegas.

"I think I was shaken up enough to fall to the floor a couple times. Gregory threw heavy punches, but I managed to withstand the onslaught and keep my composure in this difficult situation. I'd rather die standing up than lying on my back. Yes, experience plays a role, but I want to give credit to my team: this fight definitely showed aspects in which I have improved," said Cannonnier after the fight.

Recall that Cannonnier knocked out Rodriguez in the fourth round.
