Longtime UFC commentator Joe Rogan shared his thoughts on the prospects of the promotion's featherweight champion Elijah Topuria.
"As crazy as it sounds, I hope Elijah moves up to lightweight. Volkanovski and Diego Lopez fight at featherweight and Elijah moves up to lightweight. I don't care that he's only made one title defense. Who cares about that? Let's do it, damn it!
If you want a big fight in July, would it be a rematch with Volkanovski? I don't know. I think people would like to see Volkanovski win," Rogan said on his podcast.
Recall that Topuria last fought last October, knocking out Max Holloway.
