UFC featherweight champion Merab Dvalishvili called on the promotion's management to organize a fight between lightweight titleholder Islam Makhachev and undercard belt holder Ilia Topuria.
"Elijah is a good friend of mine, I respect him a lot. I respect and support his decision to move up in weight. And now it's up to the UFC to give him a fight against Islam Makhachev. But if they don't, then let Ilija's opponent be Oliveira or Dustin Puryear," Dvalishvili said in an interview with Southern Cross Combat.
