Former UFC middleweight champion Michael Bisping expressed that the toughest potential opponent for Khamzat Chimaev is current titleholder in the division, Dricus Du Plessis.
"The most dangerous opponent for Hamzat is Dricus Du Plessis. Because of Dricus' physical strength, his wrestling skills. Stylistically, Dricus is uncomfortable for Hamzat. We saw Du Plessis roll Shawn Strickland to the ground in their first fight. And since Dricus was able to take Strickland down, Hamzat certainly can. Because Chimaev is a monster of a fighter," Bisping told Submission Radio.
As a reminder, Du Plessis will fight Sean Strickland on the night of Feb. 9 in the main event of UFC 312 in Sydney, Australia.
