Ukrainian welterweight Igor Losing has confirmed that he is no longer a part of the UFC.
"Friends, hello everyone. Yes, that's right, I'm suspended from the UFC for now. Like I said, I need to pause and recover. And for this recovery I will need surgery and banned drugs, and since the UFC can't wait with fights, and the anti-doping company prohibits taking certain drugs, my decision was to leave the roster to give myself time to weigh everything and change a lot of things.
There were two offers, but I can't talk about that unfortunately. My journey in the UFC didn't start the way I planned and a lot of things influenced it, especially the worst situation that happened to our country.
I'm 28 years old now, and I'm still quite young for welterweights, because welterweights and heavyweights peak at 33-35 years old. Thank God I still have time and I have to use it very properly.
The first task is to get my health in full order and live a little bit for fun, because for 13 years I have been training hard, 2-3 workouts a day every day, and this has caused my body to exhaust all resources. Now I need to build up my resources and boundless energy. I do not know how long my recovery will last, but I will keep my life blog and tell in it how the circumstances of my life, my recovery and what in general I do," - wrote Loss in his Telegram channel.

Recall that the 28-year-old Loss has two wins and six losses in the UFC.
