Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya shared his mindset ahead of his bout with Nassurdin Imavov.
"It's always good to change something in your life, but at the end of the day, it's just a fight. For the fans who love the buzz before the fight, the preparation will be boring, but the fight itself will be very exciting. For me, the most important thing is to prove to myself that I'm still the guy. I know I'm one of the best, if not the best. And I still feel like I'm evolving and I want to show the world what I'm worth. Without me, middleweight is getting boring. So it's time to make it interesting," Adesanya is quoted by MMA Junkie.
As a reminder, Adesanya and Ivamov will headline UFC Fight Night 250, which takes place on February 1 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
