Nurmagomedov: "Dvalishvili was forced to fight me"

UFC flyweight title challenger Umar Nurmagomedov shared his opinion on division champion Merab Dvalishvili ahead of the fight.

The bout will be the second main event of UFC 311, which takes place on the night of January 19 in Los Angeles, USA.

"He's nervous - of course he's nervous. He might even be upset at the UFC - they made him fight me. Even before he became champion, he didn't want that fight. He didn't want to fight me, and when he became champion, I think he tried to negotiate fights with others because those fights would have been easier for him.

He can't say anything to the UFC or White to show them his position. He always says he's a 'company man' but they still forced him to fight me," MMA Junkie quoted Nurmagomedov as saying.
