Aspinall has finalized negotiations for a fight with Jones

Tom Aspinall, the UFC's interim heavyweight champion, has announced that he has finalized negotiations for a fight with Jon Jones.

"At the moment, the situation is that I am waiting. From our side, the issue is closed. I said 'yes', agreed to the fight and all the terms, and now I'm waiting for Jon Jones' answer and the UFC's decision. I assume everything will become clearer in the next couple weeks. I'm just training and staying in shape right now, staying as focused as I can because who knows - maybe they'll set a date and it'll be real close, or maybe it'll be six months from now. I don't know."
