Tsarukyan would have beaten Makhachev in Puryear's place

Arman Tsarukyan, the UFC's No. 1 lightweight, said that if he were Dustin Porier, he would beat Islam Makhachev.

"With Islam I won't have difficulties because I know how to beat him. In the fight with Puryear he looked very bad. He didn't have a good fight, he tired quickly - if I was in Puryear's shoes, I would have beaten him. But I will do it at UFC 311 - I will knock out Islam Makhachev."

We will remind, the rematch of Makhachev with Tsarukyan will take place on the night of January 19.
