UFC flyweight champion Merab Dvalishvili made a bold statement ahead of his upcoming bout with challenger Umar Nurmagomedov.

The Georgian and the Dagestani will meet at UFC 311, which takes place on January 18 in Los Angeles, USA.

"I'm going to break Umar. It will be a great fight, Umar is very good. But it's against top-level opponents that I show myself at my best. I don't expect it to be easy in the octagon.
