Benavides: "I don't have enough experience to fight Usyk yet"

WBC interim flyweight titleholder David Benavides has spoken out about a possible fight with unified heavyweight division champion Oleksandr Usyk.

"Usyk wants to return to the first heavyweight? I don't have enough experience for a fight with him yet. Never say never - maybe we'll meet in the future. I would say it could happen in 5-6 years, but he will be over 40 by then.

I have a lot of respect for Usyk, he's the greatest in history. If I am offered to meet him in the ring, I will not be able to refuse. Although I realize that it will be the most difficult fight of my life," said Benavides in an interview with Sean Zittel.
