Former UFC middleweight champion Luke Rockhold shared his expectations for the fight between the promotion's lightweight division belt holder Merab Dvalishvili and Umar Nurmagomedov.
The Georgian and the Dagestani will fight at UFC 311, which takes place on January 18 in Los Angeles, USA.
"It's going to come down to determination. If you look at the fight, it looks like it's going to be a tough one for Umar. But if you go deeper, it's clear that Umar will outwork Merab, Merab will get angry and start lunging at Umar and the latter will counterattack and probably end up in a dominant position. I don't see it going any other way," Rockhold said on the JAXXON podcast.
