Javier Mendes, the mentor of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev, revealed when his mentee plans to end his career.
"He'll probably do what Khabib did - retire at 35. Khabib did it a lot earlier, but I think 35 is the magic number for these guys. They keep it in their head that 35 is the end point. Somebody will cross it, but I think Islam is already financially secure, he's very good with his money, so at 35 he'll finish his career."
