Aspinall claimed that White promised him a bout with Jones

UFC interim heavyweight champion Tom Aspinall revealed that the promotion's CEO Dana White promised to set him up a fight with full titleholder Jon Jones after the UFC 309 tournament.

"Dana came into the room and said: "It's definitely going to happen, and it's going to be the biggest fight in UFC history"," - quotes the Briton Championship Rounds.

Recall that at the UFC 309 show Jones made the first defense of the belt, knocking out Stipe Miocic.
