Topuria has ruled Makhachev out as a contender

Elijah Topuria, the UFC featherweight champion, has dropped Islam Makhachev, the lightweight champion, from his list of opponents.

"If Islam continues to defend his title and get bigger and more important, maybe one day we can see this fight, but at the moment he is not on the list of my opponents," Sportskeeda quoted the Spanish-Georgian fighter as saying.
