Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker commented on his loss to Hamzat Chimaev and spoke about his health.
"Thank you all for the love and support. It's hard sometimes, but that's the way the game is. Huge congratulations to Hamzat - he was better on the night. That's all you need to know. I felt great and I was ready. Everything was fine. My jaw is fine, but my teeth are displaced. That's a good reason to put them right, ha ha.
I'm frustrated, but I come back better after every setback and every challenge. This time will be no different. I want to thank my team and everyone who has supported me along the way. It's time to spend some time with my family. Be back soon!" - wrote the Australian in Instagram.
Recall that last weekend Whittaker lost to Chimaev by first-round submission at UFC 308.
