Undefeated UFC middleweight Khamzat Chimaev, after a striking victory over former division champion Robert Whittaker, revealed who he would like to share the octagon with in his next fight.
"I got the victory and it doesn't matter who is next - Shawn, Dricus or Adesanya. I'm going for the gold. I'm ready. I want to fight everybody - make money and be happy. Financially, a fight with Adesanya would be money for me, and with Strickland we trained together in the same gym and we have unfinished business - it would be a good story. As for Du Plessis, did you see me beat Rob and how did he do it? Rob was translating him, and if Rob was translating him, against me it will be without a chance," - said Chimaev at a press conference.
Recall that on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Chimaev finished Whittaker in the first round.
