Muhammad on fight with Rakhmonov: "I don't think he's faced such challenges in the UFC"

UFC welterweight champion Belal Muhammad has spoken out about his bout with undefeated challenger Shavkat Rakhmonov.

"Rakhmonov is psychologically resilient, and if he has to pull out a victory with his teeth, he will beat a lot of guys. But this time he will face someone who has an even stronger will, who is tougher, won't back down and won't give up.

So now it's all about how he's going to fight in that situation. I don't think he's faced challenges like this in the UFC, he's always had the lead in this and now he's going to fall behind. When it gets to the later rounds and it gets tougher and tougher, he won't be able to breathe and he'll be tired, it won't work either - what adjustments will he make?

Talking about Shavkat not getting tired..... he didn't fight me. It doesn't matter who's in front of me - he'll get tired in a fight. I don't care what your path has been or what your cardio workouts are, I don't have the pace of anyone you've ever seen," MMA Mania quoted Muhammad as saying.

As a reminder, Muhammad will fight Rakhmonov in the main event of the UFC 310 show, which is scheduled for December 7 in Las Vegas, Nevada, USA.
