Hooker explained Topuria's desire to fight Makhachev

New Zealand UFC fighter Dan Hooker explained why UFC featherweight champion Elijah Topuria says he's ready to fight higher division titleholder Islam Makhachev.

"This guy is all over the place right now. He wants to fight everybody, he's got to get on with it. On the other hand - he's going undefeated. If I had an 18-0 record or whatever his record is - I'd be going nuts too. I'd be walking around thinking I was Superman.

So I can understand why Topuria thinks and says that. He has not lost yet, he is unfamiliar with this feeling," - quotes Hooker MMA Mania.

Recall that Topuria will fight Max Holloway on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
