Former UFC heavyweight champion Cain Velasquez responded to how he would have fared in his best years against current division leaders Tom Aspinall and Jon Jones.
"I know that when I get to someone's feet, I'm going to deliver a knockdown. Aspinall is very dangerous on his hands, he has a lot of power. He takes a big step, rushes forward and punches. He's very good at shortening the distance, but he'd get underneath my tekdown.
Kane Peak against Jon Jones - that would be a tough fight. That guy is a real boogeyman, but I think I'd have something for him. It would have been a better fight because I would have been able to go wherever he wanted to go," Velasquez told the Basement Talk podcast.
