Former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou has spoken about his future career plans.

"I want to get back into boxing. Of course, I have a couple more fights in reserve in both disciplines [boxing and MMA]. I just turned 38, so I'll announce the end of my career when I'm 41 or 42.

Maybe even at 40, but that's only in an exceptional case. I think I really need to enjoy my time in the octagon or in the ring and then do one last dance and go home," MMA Junkie quoted the 38-year-old Ngannou as saying.

Ngannou will fight Renan Ferreira in the main event of the PFL Super Fights: Battle of the Giants show in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia on October 19.
