UFC lightweight Grant Dawson expressed confidence that former middleweight champion Robert Whittaker will be victorious in his upcoming fight with Hamzat Chimaev.
"I'm betting on Whittaker. Especially in a five-round fight. If it was three rounds, you could convince me that Hamzat could win. 2-1 in rounds, for example. But in a five round fight, Chimaev can't handle Whittaker's pace.
In my opinion, Hamzat lost to Kamar Usman, who took the fight on a week's notice in a higher weight class. So this will be an easy win for Whittaker. I'm not a financial advisor, but I can tell you: put all your money on Robert!" - Dawson stated in an interview with Jayme Lynch.
Recall that Whittaker and Chimaev will fight on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
