Voevodkin dedicated Dana White's series win to Roman Golovatyuk, a title-winning kickboxer who died in the war against Russia

Freshly promoted UFC fighter Danilo Voevodkin revealed to whom he dedicated his win over Bailey Schonfelder as part of Dana White's Contender Series.

"I dedicate the victory to Roman Golovatyuk. He was the European champion in WAKO kickboxing. We met at competitions, at training camps. He was just a great guy. He always beat me in sparring. I trained a lot with him. In the first days he went to defend his country and died as a hero," Voevodkin said.

Roman Golovatyuk was a titled Ukrainian kickboxer who competed in the WAKO federation. Roman was an honored master of sports, World Games finalist, world champion, multiple champion of Ukraine. He died defending Ukraine from Russian aggression.
