Hearn told when the Bivol-Alvarez rematch could take place

Famous British promoter Eddie Hearn said that Dmitry Bivol could rematch Saul Alvarez next year if he defeats Artur Beterbiev on October 12 in a fight for the title of absolute world champion in the flyweight division.

"If Dmitry Bivol beats Artur Beterbiev, we'll have the opportunity to get him a fight against Canelo for the absolute world light heavyweight title. That suddenly makes the Beterbiev - Bivol fight attractive to Alvarez.

If Dmitry loses to Beterbiev, he can move down to middleweight two and challenge Canelo. He's capable of doing that. So naturally, we want to see Dmitry win the fight against Beterbiev. If Canelo wants it, I will gladly arrange their fight," said Hearn.

Recall that in May 2022, Bivol defeated Canelo by unanimous decision of the judges.
