"For me, there is no defeat if you gave your best and the fight didn't go the way you wanted it to. I always think about where I started and where I ended up. What did I do to get this fight? If fate didn't want me to win, there's a lesson behind it.
Whenever bad things happened to me, I thought, "Thank God." Otherwise I wouldn't be here. I always repeat to myself the biblical thought: 'God destroys your plans, because your plans can destroy you'," Mundo Deportivo quoted Topuria as saying.
