Brian Ortega broke the silence and commented on his loss to Diego Lopez at UFC 306.
"Face is a little swollen, lip is a little swollen. My eye is a bit watery, so I'll have to cry blood. My leg is a little swollen - I'm putting cream on it. Mentally and physically I'm fine. I don't have anything broken. We asked the Lord that I come out of the fight with no serious injuries and no need for surgery, so we're good. Obviously, I've had some time to reflect a little bit on what happened. Of course, I need to take some steps to get better. That's about it. But I'm very grateful to all of you guys for your love, support, and messages. Thank you, for real! It means a lot to a guy like me."
