Grasso made the first statement after the defeat by Shevchenko

Former UFC women's bantamweight champion Alexa Grasso summarized the results of her fight with Valentina Shevchenko. Last weekend at UFC 306 in Las Vegas, USA, the Mexican was defeated by a split decision and lost her belt.

"I want to thank you for your support. It wasn't the night I wanted. I'm going back to training and I promise the next fight will be much better. I love you guys. I'd like to see some new faces. I think it would be nice to see someone different, maybe right now," Grasso wrote on Instagram.
