Lopez may back up the Topuria-Holloway fight

UFC CEO Dana White has allowed that featherweight prospect Diego Lopez could be the replacement for the division's title fight between champion Elijah Topuria and Max Holloway, which takes place Oct. 26 at UFC 306 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

"It's possible. We'll do anything for this guy, even though he yelled at me after the fight. I like him, so yeah, he can do it," White said at the press conference.

Recall that on September 15 at UFC 306, Lopez defeated Brian Ortega by unanimous decision of the judges. For the 29-year-old Brazilian this victory was the fifth in a row.
