Former UFC middleweight champion Robert Whittaker is confident he can inflict the first defeat of his career on Hamzat Chimaev. Their fight will take place on October 26 at UFC 308 in Abu Dhabi, UAE.
"You can bet your last dollar that I train like a beast on the mats. I bleed sweat and blood to leave my whole self in preparation for the fight and then leave my whole self in the cage itself.
I don't expect Hamzat to get tired as the fight progresses. I expect him to be aggressive, scary in the fight and very strong. But I think I've been in this situation before. I know how to act. I'm good at it. I'm the best middleweight in the world. I'm going to beat Hamzat and prove it. I can't wait," Whittaker said in an interview with MMArcade Podcast.
