Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya made it clear after his loss to current titleholder Dricus Du Plessis that he's not even thinking about retiring from the sport.
"I felt like I was still making history. I've never lost twice in a row. I lost in the worst way, I got caught on a hold for the first time, another story, unbelievable. I just keep doing my thing. Because I'm damn good at it," Adesanya said at the press conference.
Adesanya lost to Du Plessis with a fourth-round choke hold in the main event of UFC 305 in Perth, Australia, on Aug. 18.
