Blachowicz reacted to the announcement of the Pereira - Rountree fight

Former UFC bantamweight champion Jan Blachowicz commented on the announcement of a fight between current titleholder Alex Pereira and Khalil Ranauti.

Earlier, promotion CEO Dana White said the American and the Brazilian will fight in the main event of UFC 307 in Salt Lake City on Oct. 5.

"All due respect to Khalil, but there are at least two higher ranked contenders who are willing to fight Poatan. He doesn't need special protection," Blachowicz wrote on his X page.
