Namajunas and Blanchfield will headline the tournament in Canada on Nov. 2

The UFC is returning to Canada, and this time the event will take place in Edmonton, Alberta.

The UFC Fight Night show is officially scheduled for Nov. 2, UFC CEO Dana White announced on Sportsnet, along with the main event of Rose Namajunas vs. Erin Blanchfield.

Blanchfield (12-2) is hoping to rebound from her first setback in the UFC, a rather one-sided unanimous decision loss to Manon Fioro in March. After the loss, Blanchfield expressed her hope that the fight with Namajunas would happen, and now her wish has come true.

Namajunas (13-6) will return to the octagon after two straight wins over Amanda Ribas and Tracy Cortez. Rose is 2-1 since returning to flyweight in 2021.

It also became known that the co-main event of the upcoming show will be a heavyweight fight between Derrick Lewis and Alexander Romanov.
